Rodent Game Awards 2006 – Live Event!

On THURSDAY the 25th of January 2007 – The Royal George in that-there-London will play host to the first ever Rodent Game Awards. In a tiny downstairs room we shall be awarding the inaugural ‘WotR Stars’. All the nominees are invited and we wholly expect absolutely none of them to turn up – so we’re going to sit in a corner and drink cherry-beer and reflect on how awful life is.

The venue is great – it’s an interesting pub and the room we’re in is ace. There’s a great range of beers and soft drinks (currently it’s a pay-bar – somebody sponsor that. Go on – pleeeease? “Barkeep! I’ll have a pint of Sony and a Nintendo chaser”) and some bar-snacks that aren’t proper basket-meals but will do. At the very least it’ll be a night of drinking and that: turn up if the Game BAFTAs give you the arse and enjoy instead some proper Original Videogaming Spirit. Or sit in the dark and bitch about people, we know we will be.
